Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!
Snow is awesome in my book. I like going for walks in it, eating it, throwing it, watching it, and rolling in it. Once in college, I even had sex in it – a moment I very recently remembered after years of convenient suppression.
So I love these snowflake photos from Alexey Kljatov, a Russian photographer living in Moscow. I know they say no single snowflake is the same, but it never ceases to amaze me – so many intricate designs with such symmetry. Beauty is infinite. (I need to copyright that for my future cosmetics line.)
If you’re interested in taking a stab at some macro photography yourself this winter, you can! Kljatov took these on a 6 year-old point-and-shoot camera! Click here for his tips on how to make your own cheap, homemade rig!!
Here’s to hoping for a White Christmas!
