Bad Boy, Bad Boy, Whatcha Gonna Do
I like a tatted up guy as much as the next girl, but I like these bad boys most of all: rough riders with hearts of gold.
They come out in full force – sometimes an entire gang at once – to meet children who are victims of child abuse. Signaling their arrival with booming exhaust pipes, skull caps, and long beards, they’re a scary bunch. But that’s the point – they’re using a bad reputation for good.
According to one article, “Anytime, anywhere, for as long as it takes the child to feel safe, these leather-clad guardians [...] use their intimidating image to even the playing field for a child who has been hurt.”
They’ll do things like stand guard outside a child’s home all night if she’s had a nightmare; accompany a child to testify against an attacker; take a child to school if he’s afraid and wait until he’s safely inside. They are bad-ass bodyguards who mean business.
If you like their organization as much as I do, please consider making a donation to BACA (Bikers Against Child Abuse) as part of your holiday charitable giving this year.

I love this SO much. What a great example they are setting — everyone can use their strengths to help make our community a better place.
Agree – I got major goosebumps over this one. Little kids need big protectors like this.
