Bentobox – Not Just for Lunch Anymore

Benbentobox

Fashion to me is whatever’s currently on the racks at Target.  But it IS Fashion Week in NYC, and one thing I DO appreciate is good color-blocking.  A couple weeks ago, I discovered Swedish designer, Bengt Brummer’s incredible site “Bentobox,” which he uses as a “visual diary, a collection of daily inspiration, arranged by colors, hues, tones and shades.”

Put simply, it’s like stepping into a museum-curated rainbow.  Just scrolling through the different color palettes is practically meditative.  I draw a lot of energy from color and imagery, so for me, this is a pot of gold.

A few screen grabs to whet your appetite (click on them individually to enlarge), but I encourage you to check out Bentobox for the full Willy Wonka effect!

Thank you for this. I didn’t realise how much I do as well until I saw this blog. I have been addicted to colours since I discovered crayons. I don’t even care what the medium is…paints, beads, whatever. It’s therapeutic to create things using strong colour themes I think. I am not alone!
